Brainfuck basics
The eight commands of brainfuck, one or two at a time, on a machine you can watch. You try something, the page sees that you did it, and then it explains. You need no programming.

The machine of every lesson
This program prints "Hi". Press Play, or drag the Step slider back and forth, and watch which cell is outlined:
The line on top is the program, and the marked command is the one that runs next. The row under it holds the numbers the program works on, and the outline shows which of them it is working on right now. Every lesson uses this same machine.
After the last lesson
After Lesson 10 you can write and read small programs. Build toward a chatbot is the next course: the tricks that turn this small language into a chat model. If you want practice first, the Challenges give you something to write.
